Photo Gallery of Joy

Linking up with others sharing a photo gallery of things that bring me JOY ...

sweet grandkids ...

Our three youngest grandkids ... blessed with nine altogether!

enjoying "empty nest" days with my "mr." ...

Sweet gifts from my husband on Valentine's Day ...

quiet moments with God ...

My greatest source of joy, peace, and strength ...

taking photos for scrapbooking & blogging ...

Capturing beauty ~ last week at Mulhalls Garden Center ...

grown kids home to visit ...

So blessed to have four daughters, two sons, and four sons-in-law ... love them all!
In this photo: three daughters home for a freezer meal day ... another one planned for this Saturday!

holidays and special meals together ...

The whole family home this past Christmas!

the beauty of sharing good food ...

Lemon Bars ~ made last week ...

A glimpse into some of the many sources of joy in my life ... many more; too many to count. A fitting time for me to link up with others at Faith Barista to share joy through photos. It has been easy for me to focus on the trials of life in recent weeks/days ... and always, God gives us joy in the midst of the daily challenges. Some words I read this morning:

"Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him!"
(Psalm 37:8)

  3. Kudos on your photography!

I have the same mugs from V-day! Love them! They are just adorable.

You have a SERIOUSLY beautiful family!

I love the freezer meal idea. How many meals do you do each time? Does each person bring ingredients and then share?

  5. Hi there,
I found you on a link from Ann's blog. Just asked God to pick one out for me to send blessings to. You have a beautiful blog and family. My husband and I are empty nesters with 3 children grown and married and 4 grandchildren. We have two parents living - my husband's Father turning 90 this year and my Mother turned 94 this spring. Are you memorizing Colossians? Can I ask what study book you are using in your picture with the Bible?
    Many blessings,
    Jan

  6. Wow! Love the pictures, especially the gerbera daisies. Beautiful. Seems we have a lot in common, being empty nesters and enjoying grandkids, quiet time, and time with Mr.

Blessings to you and yours, from a fellow Faith Barista-er.

  8. Beautiful photographs, Cherry! Your daughters have inherited your infectious smile. And those grandkids are just too cute! I love how you proudly displayed your honey's gifts to you. It always touches my heart to see a girl and a guy still in their honeymoon season. ;)
