We had another week of vacation time to use this year, and instead of traveling a distance, we decided to stay fairly close to home. And instead of sight-seeing, we chose to have a quiet little retreat - four days set aside for extended time with God, and with each other in a quiet, relaxing setting. And we loved it - it was just what we needed and hoped for.
