During this month of shopping, gift-wrapping, baking, visiting, entertaining, celebrating, preparing ~ we have a Gift to hold, and to walk with and keep company with. And in the midst of busy days, we must take time to quiet our hearts, slow our steps, and rest our minds. To listen, and to embrace and be embraced by this Gift of Love.

"The faithful Love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is His faithfulness;
His mercies begin afresh each morning."
This is quite beautiful - and so essential: "we must take time to quiet our hearts, slow our steps, and rest our minds. To listen, and to embrace and be embraced by this Gift of Love."
