Thirsty

"O God, You are my God;
I earnestly search for You.
My soul thirsts for You;
my whole body longs for You
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water.

I have seen You in Your sanctuary
and gazed upon Your power and glory.
Your unfailing love is better than life itself;
how I praise You!

I will praise You as long as I live,
lifting up my hands to You in prayer.
You satisfy me more than the richest feast.
I will praise You with songs of joy."

(Psalm 63:1-5)

Thank You, loving Lord - our source of life, the quencher of our thirst, all we long for.

(Thankful for some rain here last night - the first since June - and thankful for His daily quenching of our thirst. Photo above taken last month while on beautiful Campobello Island, New Brunswick.)

  2. Thankful you received rain. Here in the panhandle of Florida, we have almost floated away from all the rain. My one desire is the desire to remain always thirsty for Him. Drinking Him in with you.

  3. Yes. I don't mind if I do sit right there for a moment or two.

  4. Yes, I was certainly rejoicing over the rain. And the coolness of these past couple days has poured joy into my heart!

    Love the photo. And, of course, the Word of our dear Lord.

    Blessings.
