Coming in 2026 ...
I write about various topics here on my blog, but if there were just one topic that I would write about, it would be this. This is the most important, most valuable and treasured part of my life. If you could sum up your life in a sentence of what is of most importance, what would your words be?
Maybe these words would summarize it for me ...
Be still, and know that I am God.

And the question is ... how do I still my heart?
How do we still our hearts to focus on what is most important?
How do you and I quiet our hearts in this life that is filled with so many things that call for our attention?
I am by nature a person with a sensitive heart, deeply connected with all that is around me. A heart that can easily take on too many cares, easily become overwhelmed. And I need to keep my heart focused on what is of most importance. For everything else flows from what is of most importance to us in our hearts and our souls.

The main focus of my writing is centered on this topic of most importance to me. Stilling my heart before Him, listening, and following the One who loves us deeper than any other. And who is the source of all that we desire.

Spring is a time for fresh beginnings and new growth. Coming out of a long and cold winter, though winter can be lovely in its own way, I am often longing for new growth, for a freshness in my soul. As our garden spots, our trees, and our grass take on a new life, so my soul thirsts for new life, as well.
