In our world of decision-making, of trying to figure out which way to go, we are often left perplexed and confused, not knowing what to do, which door to open or to close. I am so thankful for these words this morning, pointing to the One who can give us direction, the One who can see the whole picture and knows the best path to take.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do,
and He will show you which path to take."
(Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
Such familiar words to me; yet, when we stop to really listen, the most powerful words. All that we need as we face confusing circumstances, not knowing what to do. Instead of worry, trust. Instead of confusion, peace.
"Don't worry about anything;
instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
Then you will experience God's peace,
which exceeds anything we can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds
as you live in Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)
So thankful that we are not left alone. So thankful for the greatest privilege of all, that we can have an intimate relationship with the Giver of Peace, the One who gives Light to our paths. Praying these words over myself today, and also over some of our grown children as they seek and wait for direction.

ReplyDeleteIt is so comforting to know that we need not worry for He will direct our paths.

P.S. I also enjoyed seeing your digital scrapbooking. I'm still finding my way around PSE and haven't ventured that far. Yet.... :)
A good reminder for me as well! Thank you!
