"'For I know the plans I have for you,'
declares the Lord,
'plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.'"
(Jeremiah 29:11)
Promises at the start of this New Year - promises that His plans are better than our own. Drawing us to depend on Him for everything, for He is the One who knows all that lies ahead - all for our good, and for His praise. Leaving us no need for worry or fear as we walk with Him - such an amazing invitation to this New Year! How can we take one step into this new unknown year without holding onto Him?
"If You don't personally go with us,
don't make us leave this place."
(Exodus 33:15)
Thanking Him for some of the greatest blessings of the past year:

Helping us through some difficult times - and giving Him the praise.

Celebrating our 20th year on staff with Student Venture/Campus Crusade for Christ.
And celebrating our 40th year of marriage with a trip-of-a-lifetime to Italy - unforgettable.

Close connections with the Omaha staff team - sharing of hearts and ministry.
Always teaching us and molding us more into His image - so needed.
Learning of digital scrapbooking - a joy.
Creating more and more of a desire in me to record and share the story of our lives - for Him.
Grandchildren growing and learning - the oldest fifteen, and the youngest three boys, all two.
Another grandchild on the way - a gift from God.
Time spent with youngest son in Italy - so memorable.
A daughter & family moving close by - less than 10 minute drive away.
